The Dandy’s Desperate Dan First Edition Animation Comic Book 1953
Collecting Collectables has for sale this rare Desperate Dan book. Published by DC Thomson in 1953, this is the rare first Dandy book dedicated to the character, Desperate Dan that first appeared in the comic form in the UK in the Dandy’s first issue on 4th December 1937
The front board is in Good condition with wear to the edges and minute marks to the bottom edge, which is bowing slightly. The back board is also in good condition but bears a large scratch. The original red spine has rubbing
Internally the book is in Very Good condition with very clean pages
This is an extremely scarce example of this highly collectable book
